South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma showcased amazing athleticism against Afghanistan in the ongoing third game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He bagged a stunning catch to dismiss his Afghanistan counterpart, Hashmatullah Shahidi, giving a major blow to the Afghans in the second innings of the game.
Temba Bavuma’s brilliant catch came on the fourth ball of the 15th over when Wiaan Mulder was bowling for the Proteas. It happened when Shahidi tried to launch an attack on Wiaan Mulder by steeping out but his shot couldn’t cross the Proteas skipper at mid-on region.
The video of Bavuma’s outstanding catch is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
