With this amazing four-wicket haul, Bumrah also surpassed the former MI legend Lasith Malinga to become the leading wicket-taker for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

Mumbai Indians move to second spot in points table

Speaking of the action of the game, the visiting skipper Rishabh Pant won the toss and asked Mumbai Indians to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted a big total of 215 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav scored the crucial half-centuries, scoring 58 and 54 runs off just 32 and 28 balls.
