The Indian Cricket Team is gearing up to defend their crown against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, slated to begin on 22nd November. India has beaten Australia in the series in each of their last two visits and will be eager to repeat that this time around.
Ahead of the first Test in Perth, India has begun their practice. In one of the net sessions, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant switched roles and created an entertaining moment for the fans.
The video started with the two arguing if Pant had taken Bumrah's wicket in the nets. The clip rolled back to Pant bowling to Bumrah. Throughout the video, both argued if Pant could take a wicket and if his action was legal.
"First-class cricket ki wicket hai meri ek," claimed Pant. "Haan, thik hai. Usko saja ke rakho tum," hysterically replied Bumrah.
Later, the wicket-keeper bowled a short ball, which Bumrah pulled away. Pant claimed he had gotten the wicket, while Bumrah believed it sailed for a four. India's bowling coach Morne Morkel weighed in and ruled the result in Pant's favour.

India's hopes for the WTC Final rely on a win in Australia
In the meantime, India find themselves in a difficult situation after their 3-0 whitewash against New Zealand in the Test series at home. The loss has hampered their chances of making it to the World Test Championship Final.
The Men In Blue now need to win by a margin of 4-0 in the five-match Test series in Australia. If they fail to do so, they will have to rely on other teams' results.
A win down under will be a big challenge for Rohit Sharma and his men. The relatively young Indian side will have to pull off a miracle to win the series and make it to the WTC Final.
