Young Jacob Bethell took a stunning tumbling catch to dismiss veteran Zimbabwean star Sikandar Raza on Thursday. The amazing catch was taken during the Hundred game between Manchester Original versus Birmingham Phoenix match.
The incident happened in the 28th ball of the Manchester Originals innings. Chris Wood bowled a short ball to Sikandar Raza as the batter for a huge hit. Jacob Bethell who fielding at the deep-mid wicket region kept his eyes on the ball tumbled backwards and held onto the catch.

Constant rains meant that the start of the match was delayed for a long time. The game was reduced to a 30-ball-per-side match. Manchester Originals batted first and scored 41 on the board as the Birmingham team chased down the total with 8 balls to spare.
Birmingham Phoenix posts easy win over Manchester Originals
Batting first Manchester Originals lost the wicket of Matthew Hurst early for a duck. Liam Livingstone took three catches as Adam Milne and Tim Southee rocked the Manchester batting unit. Max Holden with 15 runs off 10 balls and Phil Salt with 12 runs off 8 balls were the best batters. At the end of their 30 deliveries, Manchester Original scored 41 runs for the loss of five wickets.
Jamie Smith scored 14 off 7 balls with 2 sixes before Scott Currie had him caught by Sikandar Raza. Ben Duckett then scored an unbeaten 22 off 12 balls with 3 fours and a six while Moeen Ali hit a six to finish the game and secure an easy win by 9 wickets. The win meant that Oval Invincibles along with Birmingham Phoenix and Southern Braves have made it to the playoffs.

Oval Invincibles have already made it to the finals thanks to finishing top of the table. Birmingham Phoenix will take on Southern Brave in the eliminator game and the winner will progress to the finals. The eliminator game will be played on Saturday at the Oval while the finals will be played on Sunday at the home of cricket at Lord’s.
