In the ongoing Buchi Babu tournament, Ishan Kishan took Jharkhand past the victory line by hitting two sixes against Madhya Pradesh when only 12 runs were needed with one wicket left. Ishan played two brilliant sweep shots to win the game. He scored 41* runs off 58 balls in the second innings, while he had scored a beautiful century in the first innings.

The unbeaten 114 runs in the first innings were nothing short of brilliance, and now he's back in the limelight again. Ishan returned to cricket after a really long time, and if he maintains his consistency, he can return back to the Indian team. He's one of India's best keeper-batter, and due to the controversies at the start of 2024, he was left out of the team and the central contract of BCCI.

Now, the selectors will keep an eye on him, and since the Duleep Trophy is coming, his performance will be highlighted. He is the skipper of the Jharkhand team and now that he has scored a century, it was nothing less than a slap on the face of the critics who opposed his inclusion in the Indian team earlier this year. Ishan is a dedicated player and deserves every chance to be in the Indian team.

The captaincy door is open for him: Harsha Bhogle

While Hardik Pandya's red-ball career is almost over, Harsha Bhogle shed light on his inclusion in the white-ball cricket. Moreover, he also spoke about Hardik's chances of becoming the captain once again if he keeps on playing and performing well for India. The Indian team cannot get a better all-rounder than Hardik Pandya who is indeed one of the best in the business.

"Hardik Pandya has been asked to play all white ball games. The captaincy door is open for him; they are just testing Suryakumar Yadav. Hardik has to stay fit and play all white ball games in order to get back," said Harsha Bhogle.
