The fan in question was being taken away, it was at this moment, Pandya asked the security to let the fan get his shirt signed. It was a huge moment for the fan who was seen sporting a huge smile on his face. This act by Hardik Pandya earned him lots of praise from the fans, and the video has garnered lots of likes on social media.
The game on Wednesday is a must-win encounter for SRH as they find themselves second from bottom. In the last meeting between these two sides, Mumbai had beaten Hyderabad by four wickets at the Wankhede Stadium. The five-time champions also beat Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets to win their fourth game of the season.
Chance for MI to leapfrog RCB and PBKS in the points table
The game between SRH and MI and Wednesday brings a huge chance for Hardik Pandya’s men to move to the third spot in the points table. Currently, MI has eight points from eight games and are sixth in the table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings both have ten points from eight matches.
Mumbai, though, has a better run-rate than RCB and PBKS, and a win over Hyderabad will see MI move to the third spot. Pat Cummins and his side have played seven games and head into the game on Wednesday with just four points. Loss on Wednesday would mean that, just like Chennai, even SRH would have to win their last six games.
Eyes will be on former MI skipper Rohit Sharma, who scored an unbeaten 76 against CSK. Suryakumar Yadav will be another key player from MI, considering his record against SRH over the past few games. For the home side, the onus will be on Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head to give the team a good start with the bat.
