Rajasthan Royals ended their IPL 2025 campaign with a 6-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings, in the tournament’s 62nd match in Delhi. The Royals chased down the 188-run target in just 17.1 overs, scoring 188 runs for the loss of 4 wickets and registered the fourth win of their campaign in the ongoing 18th edition.

Furthermore, the RR skipper Sanju Samson attracted the eyeballs for his sweet and heart-winning gesture for a young fan after the end of the game. Sanju was seen signing autographs for the fans after RR won the game.

In the same line of events, a kid from the stands shouted towards RR skipper and called, “Sanju Samson,” to which the cricketer came up with a sweet reply, “Haan Chhotu (Yes, Kiddo)”. Later, Samson went to the kid and signed an autograph for him, alongside asking, “CSK ke fan ho ya RR (are you a CSK fan or an RR fan).” “Donon ka (Fan of Both),” replied the young boy.

After signing an autograph, Samson also gifted his cap to the young kid in a heartfelt gesture. The video of this moment also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by the Rajasthan Royals on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

RR end IPL 2025 campaign on winning note

Speaking of the action of the game, the RR skipper, Sanju Samson, won the toss and asked CSK to bat first; batting first, MS Dhoni’s men scored 187 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ayush Mhatre and Dewald Brevis scored 43 and 42 runs off just 20 and 25 balls. Later in the innings, Shivam Dube also scored 39 runs off 32 balls.

Yudhvir Singh and Akash Madhwal scalped 3 wickets each in the first innings for RR, alongside a wicket each picked by Tushar Deshpande and Wanindu Hasaranga.

While chasing the target, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 57 runs off just balls, with four fours and four sixes, following Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 36 runs off 19 balls, with five fours and two sixes. Besides these two, Sanju Samson scored 41 runs off 31 balls, with three fours and two sixes, followed by Dhruv Jurel’s 31 runs off 12 balls, with two fours and three sixes.

On the back of these knocks, RR chased down the target in 17.1 overs, scoring 188 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
