Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell loves to play unorthodox shots, and this is always evident by the way he bats in all the games irrespective of the formats. Starting from the reverse lap to the sweep shot, he's a pro in all. In the ongoing 28th game of the Big Bash League (BBL), Melbourne Stars were batting in the first innings when Maxwell came in at No. 6 position and wreaked havoc on the bowlers of Sydney Sixers.
The batter scored 58 runs off 32 balls and hit five boundaries and three sixes. Amidst the wonderful and powerful batting show, Maxwell deposited the ball in the crowd with a reverse lap, which shocked the bowler. The crowd for sure enjoyed the hit as a young fan tried to catch the ball in the stands but couldn't do it.

It was the Sixer's decision to bowl first, which proved to be correct as the Stars scored just 157 runs in the high-octane game. They reached the score thanks to Maxwell and Beau Webster's astounding performance. Webster missed his half-century by just two runs.
