Mitchell Marsh: (X)

In the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) game between Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Renegades, Australia's ace all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was dismissed on a golden duck. It was a humiliating moment for the player, as he was LBW on the very first ball after he returned to the league. Earlier, the player was a part of Australia's squad for the BGT series. However, due to his below-par performance in the games he played, he was then dropped from the squad.

Playing for the Perth Scorchers, Marsh was dismissed by Will Sutherland with a brilliant delivery. The ball went back in, and since the batter's leg didn't move at all, it hit the pads directly. The height didn't create any problem, and the ball was hitting the middle stump, as shown in the replay. Marsh knew it and, hence, kept walking to the dugout.

Scorchers were forced to bat first by the Renegades, and it didn't turn out in their favour as they scored only 147 runs in the first innings.

Ashton Agar turns batter; scored a scintillating half-century

The openers of Scorchers gave a perfect start to the match, but the middle-order batters failed to capitalise on it. Hence, Ashton Agar had to step up and score a brilliant century in the game to help the Scorchers reach 147 runs in 20 overs. Adam Zampa from the Renegades claimed three wickets, while Will Sutherland and Tom Rogers got two wickets each.

In the turn of events, the Renegades lost four early wickets within the powerplay, scoring just 15 runs. Jason Behrendorff dismissed two batters while Richardson and Lance Morris took one wicket each. It seems like the game is well within the reach of Scorchers.
