Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru took on each other in the 46th game of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). At their home ground, Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the hosts, DC, were completely dominated and outplayed by the in-form RCB throughout the entire game.

Meanwhile, what caught everyone’s attention on social media was a fan of the Delhi Capitals who looked very disheartened with his team’s performance against RCB. The disappointed fan was seen ordering the RCB jersey from an online platform.

RCB moved to the top spot with win against DC

Speaking of the action of the game between DC and RCB, the visiting skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and asked DC to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The veteran wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul scored 41 runs off 39 balls, with three fours, followed by Tristan Stubbs’ 34 runs off just 18 balls.

The veteran RCB pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped 3 wickets at 33 runs in his four overs in the first innings, alongside 2 wickets picked by Josh Hazlewood. Besides these two, Yash Dayal and Krunal Pandya also claimed a wicket each.

While chasing the target, the visitors, RCB, comfortably scored 165 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 18.3 overs and won the game by 6 wickets after struggling in the initial phase of their run chase. Former skipper Virat Kohli and star all-rounder Krunal Pandya stitched a match-winning partnership of 119 runs for the third wicket. Kohli scored 51 runs off 47 balls, with 4 fours, followed by Krunal Pandya’s unbeaten 73 runs off just 47 balls, with five fours and four sixes.

With this win over DC, RCB also moved to the top spot in the tournament’s points table, adding two more points to their name, with the seventh win in their 10 games.
