Star LSG spinner Digvesh Rahi has been in the headlines since he made his debut earlier in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The Delhi-born leggie has attracted the eyeballs for his famous ‘notebook celebration’ after dismissing the batters. This controversial and aggressive celebration also happened to be a reason for hefty fines imposed on him.
It went on to the extent of getting a ban for a match after he was seen in an altercation with young SRH batter Abhishek Sharma during the LSG vs SRH game.
Meanwhile, Rathi was asked, “Agla number Kisks? (Whose number is next?)”, Before Rathi could answer anything, the fans immediately started chanting the name of former RCB skipper and the batting stalwart, Virat Kohli. The Delhi-born spinner responded with a smile and nodded his head in ‘NO’. It all happened ahead of the LSG vs RCB IPL 2025 clash at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday.

Rathi leads the wicket-takers' chart for LSG
Looking at Rathi’s performances in his debut season, he has been the leading wicket-taker for his side in the tournament so far. The 25-year-old has scalped 14 wickets in 12 innings, with an economy rate of 8.18. It also includes his best performance of ‘2 wickets at 30 runs in a game.’
Speaking of LSG’s journey in the ongoing 18th edition of the tournament, they have already been eliminated from the playoff contention. They have won six games while losing seven in their 14 games so far, with 12 points to their name. Rishabh Pant’s men will now face the ‘number three’ Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the tournament’s final league match ahead of the playoffs.
After a roller coaster journey in the tournament, LSG will aim to end their IPL 2025 campaign on a winning note by pushing RCB away from the ‘top two’ qualification in the tournament.
