The veteran opener and Sydney Thunder’s skipper, David Warner endured a forgettable outing in the ongoing knockout clash against Melbourne Stars Big Bash League 2024-25. Tom Curran dismissed the veteran Southpaw on a duck on the second ball of the game’s first over.

Curran bowled a length delivery outside the off stump, forcing Warner to play it towards the covers’ region. But the slow pace of the delivery deceived the Thunder’s skipper and he happened to play it in the hands of his Melbourne Stars’ counterpart Marcus Stoinis.

The video of this moment when Curran dismissed Warner on a duck also made rounds on social media as soon as it was shared on the BBL 2024-25’s official X handle (formerly Twitter).
