Star SRH opener Abhishek Sharma scored 40 runs off 28 balls, with seven fours against the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing 33rd game of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). He has been the only good performer with the bat for SRH amidst the entire team’s sluggish batting approach against the MI bowling attack.
Meanwhile, Abhishek’s knock also ended when courtesy of MI’s substitute fielder Raj Angad Bawa in the first over of the MI skipper Hardik Pandya. The moment came on the third ball of the eighth over when skipper Pandya introduced himself into the attack; Pandya bowled a delivery between the middle and leg stump that dug into the pitch.
Abhishek went a bit deep in his crease and tried to play it with a cut to loft towards the boundary. Subsequently, Raj Bawa covered a good ground to execute a brilliant catch after misjudging it early.
The video of Angad Bawa’s amazing catch to dismiss Abhishek Sharma in Hardik Pandya’s first over also went viral on social media as soon as the official broadcast shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
