After playing an impressive 52-run knock for LSG against DC in the first innings of the game, the veteran DC batting all-rounder Aiden Markram also showcased his amazing spin bowling. It happened in the second innings when Markram trapped the star DC batter Karun Nair on the fourth ball of the fourth over of the DC innings.
After smashing a six off the third ball of the over, Nair backed himself outside the leg stump, and Markram followed him. Nair failed to judge the ball and happened to miss the slog across the line, followed by hitting his back thigh and going straight into the stumps, taking off the bails.
The video of Aiden Markram trapping Karun Nair in his spin web also went viral on social media as soon as the official broadcasters shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

Abishek Porel and KL Rahul lead DC to comfortably run chase
Speaking of the current action of the game, Delhi Capitals have scored 96 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in 10.5 overs while chasing the target of 160 runs. Opener Abishek Porel is there in the middle, with a brilliant individual score of 52 runs off 33 balls, with five fours and a six. He is being accompanied by the veteran wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul, who has scored 28 runs off 23 balls, with two fours and a six.
Aiden Markram has scalped the only wicket for LSG in the second innings. The other LSG bowlers have been very expensive with the ball, conceding a lot of runs more than the economy of 10, except for Digvesh Rathi, who has conceded only 14 runs in his three overs.
Earlier in the first innings, LSG posted 159 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Openers Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh played the crucial knocks of 52 and 45 runs, respectively. Later in the innings, middle-order batter Ayush Badoni also smashed 36 runs off just 21 balls, with six fours.
