The batting stalwart and the India skipper Rohit Sharma shared a heartfelt moment with net bowling from Pakistan after a practice session in Dubai. Sharma praised the net bowler from Pakistan, who bowled him during the net session ahead of the start of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The video of a heartfelt conversation between Rohit Sharma and the Pakistan-based net bowler Awais Khan also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a Pakistani user on his Instagram handle. 
“Class bowler, Class bowler,” Rohit can be heard saying to Awais Khan in the viral video.

“Hamara dili khwaish tha ki aapko bowling karo (We had a hearty wish to bowl to you),” Awais replied.

“Aap hamara pair todne ki koshish karne kar rahe thay, inswing maar ke (You were trying to break out feet with the inswing yorkers),” said Rohit Sharma in his typical funny style which made India star Shubman Gill and net bowler Awais Khan laugh at the same.

“Hamein bada maja aaya sir,” said the Pakistan net bowler in the end of the video.

Notably, skipper Rohit Sharma will be in action to lead and play for India in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The veteran batter coming off a decent run of form with the bat in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against England. He smashed a century in the second ODI of the series to help India clinch an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series before winning it 3-0. 

Rohit will take the ground for the Men in Blue in their campaign opener against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on February 20, at 2:30 PM (IST). Following this clash, the two-time champions will face the arch-rivals Pakistan in the high-octane clash on February 23, at 2:30 PM (IST).
