The fans give this special tribute to the legendary India batter and former skipper, after he curtained down his glorious Test career, announcing his retirement with an Instagram post on Monday, May 12.

Meanwhile, a young boy has now caught the attention of social media after he proudly showed Virat Kohli’s Test jersey on his graduation day at his university. When the stage host announced the name of this student, he didn’t miss a chance to leave the hall in loud cheers, proudly displaying Kohli’s Test jersey on stage.

Virat Kohli leads RCB's batting attack in IPL 2025

Speaking of Virat Kohli, he will now play for India only in the ODI format after announcing his retirement from the Tests and T20Is. Currently, he is in action for his IPL franchise RCB in the tournament’s current edition. The 36-year-old has been the ‘top performer with the bat’ for RCB in the ongoing 18th edition.

He has scored 505 runs in 11 innings, with an amazing batting average of 63.12, including three unbeaten appearances. He has also smashed seven half-centuries, being the batter with the highest number of half-centuries in the ongoing IPL 2025.

He will be back in action for RCB against SRH in the upcoming game of their IPL 2025 campaign. The 65th match of the tournament will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, May 23, at 7:30 PM (IST).

After the game against KKR was washed out, RCB are placed in the second spot on the tournament standings, with 17 points. They have won eight games while losing only three, alongside a ‘no-result’ game in their 12 games so far.
