Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram as per reports carried by Telegraph Sport was involved in heated altercation with a fan. The incident happened during the Australia vs India Test match in Perth. Akram lauded Indian bowlers for their amazing comeback into the game after being bowled out for 150.

During his commentary stint ion Star Sports, the former Pakistan skipper was hearing lavish his praise on Jasprit Bumrah. Wasim Akram said, “He is the best bowler in world cricket in all the formats. The control, the swing, the pace, using the crease, went around the wicket to Usman Khawaja. I mean, he's just a brilliant bowler to watch.”
The legendary pacer also said, “He picked up the batter's weakness very quickly, and he hardly bowled a short ball, and he realised that he would be expecting a short pitch delivery. He pitched up everything, swung the ball both ways and got four wickets. That's what you call the leader leading from the front."
Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden also heaped praise on Bumrah post his heroics in Perth. Hayden during his chat with on Star Sports said, “Yeah Bumrah left Australia with eggs on their face. It was a case of the poor star but a great finish for India. Australia will be going into day 3 under pressure. There's still a lot in it in this Test.
