After 20 years of marriage, Indian cricket player Virender Sehwag and his wife Aarti Ahlawat are living apart. According to several sources, the former Indian cricket player and Aarti Ahlawat may soon be divorcing. The couple was married in 2004. He married Aarti Ahlawat in an extravagant ceremony held at the then-finance minister Arun Jaitley's house. Several factors have fuelled the flames, with the couple also unfollowing one another on Instagram, among other things.

Many people now think that the former Indian cricket player and his wife may not be on good terms because of all of these incidents. During his lengthy tenure with the Indian cricket team, former player Virender Sehwag was renowned for his aggressive batting style. Among his many notable knocks is his 219 against the West Indies in an ODI.

Two sons were born to the couple after the wedding. Aryavir, their first son, was born in 2007, and Vedant, their second son, was born in 2010. Despite their long partnership, recent events have suggested that it may be strained and that divorce is possibly imminent. Additionally, sources close to the family have disclosed that the couple has been living apart for a while.

Numerous incidents have pointed to a tense relationship, if not outright separation, between the two. On Instagram, Virender Sehwag shared pictures from his Diwali celebration. His wife, Aarti, was not to be seen in the pictures, but his son and mother were. Additionally, Sehwag did not mention his wife in any of the Instagram photos he shared of the Vishwa Nagayakshi Temple in Palakkad.

Virender Sehwag took retirement in 2015

After retiring from international cricket in 2015, Virender has taken on several responsibilities, such as being a member of the National Anti-Doping Agency's Anti-Doping Appeal Panel. In light of these events, his hitherto mostly private personal life is now being scrutinised by the public. The suspicion that the pair may be getting a divorce has only become stronger as a result of all these incidents.
