KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty have organized this unique auction of cricket memorabilia, “Cricket for a Cause: To Benefit the Vipla Foundation,” an organization committed to empowering underprivileged communities across India. The auction will have rare and iconic cricket items, encouraging cricket fans to check it out. The auction will be conducted online on Pundole on 23rd August 2024 at 6:30 PM IST.

This is the only time when cricket enthusiasts will get a chance to own something extremely close to the cricketers. For this special auction, Virat Kohli donated his signed jersey from ICC World Cup 2019 and signed gloves from ICC World Cup 2019, which was an extremely sweet gesture. He was the captain then, and this jersey holds a special place in his heart, so he decided to donate.

Fans can do charity and own their favourite cricketers' special collectables and items, which is an incredible opportunity. While the anticipation for the auction is extremely high, the main motive still remains to help underprivileged people across India. This is a beautiful initiative the power couple took, and we hope it will be a huge success.

Check out what other cricketers donated

Skipper Rohit Sharma gave his signed bat used during the ICC World Cup 2023. KL Rahul gave his signed bat and gloves used during the ICC World Cup 2023.
