Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Pullela Gopichand are set to launch the 12th Season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Former Indian Hockey Captain, Dhanraj Pillai, and Kabaddi legend, Pardeep Narwal, will also be in attendance. On the occasion of the National Sports Day on August 29, the sporting icons will stand together for the National Anthem.
Anupam Goswami, the Business Head – Mashal & League Commissioner, of the league, claimed that it's fitting for PKL to be launched by the sporting legends on the National Sports Day. He hoped to take the league to new heights and felt privileged to have the mix of retired and currently playing icons of the country from various sports.

"On the auspicious occasion of National Sports Day, it is only fitting that this season of the Pro Kabaddi League begins in the presence of legends who have shaped India’s sporting journey. We’re privileged to have them with us as we usher in another thrilling season," said Anupam Goswami.

Suryavanshi, who seems to be the next big things in the Indian Cricket at a very young age, noted the importance of sports as a medium to bring the people together. The Rajasthan Royals star hoped many youngsters indulge themselves in sports and believe in themselves.
