Two months of non-stop cricket comes to an end as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 ended on a great note. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the title for the third time by defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad by nine wickets. With 12 boundaries and three sixes, Gaikwad played with the bowlers' minds throughout the innings. Even though the Super Kings lost the match, the heroics of their captain increased the morale of the entire team, which was much-needed at that time. 

Jonny Bairstow

PBKS' Jonny Biarstow's 108 runs off 48 balls was an incredible knock that came against KKR. It was a magical innings where PBKS chased down a massive total of 262 runs against one of the best bowling attacks of the IPL 2024. Against RCB, Jos Buttler scored 100 runs off just 58 balls, which was a sensational inning, as RR won the match by six wickets. With nine boundaries and four sixes, Buttler outplayed the RCB bowlers who couldn't dismiss him and hence, he scored an unbeaten century. His performance also helped RR remain unbeaten in the tournament at that time, while all other teams had lost at least one match in their own backyard. Marcus Stoinis

The 124 runs off 63 balls that came against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was Marcus Stoinis, which was one of the greatest innings in the league's history.
