Trevor Bayliss who has been a successful coach is set to look for new opportunities pretty soon. The former England World Cup-winning coach is set to bid goodbye to Punjab Kings ahead of IPL 2025. In a report carried by CRICBUZZ, it has come to light that the franchise is looking for an Indian name to end its trophy drought.

Indian Premier League 2024 was a horrible campaign for Punjab Kings having finished second from bottom. Injury to regular skipper Shikhar Dhawan didn’t help their cause as Sam Curran waged a lone battle as the skipper and made sure his team didn’t finish at the bottom.

Punjab Kings according to CRICBUZZ have been vocal for an Indian team coach. Rahul Dravid is set to move to Rajasthan Royals as per a few reports earlier this week. This leaves some unfancied names in the race for the coach’s job at Punjab Kings,
