UP Warriorz to make use of home advantage
In this WPL leg, the Gujarat Giants will play the UP Warriors first on March 3. UP Warriorz will go for wins to move ahead in the league. They also have a home advantage, which may have helped to change the fortunes of the team. With two wins in five games, UP Warriorz is placed in the fourth spot with four points.
Following this, under the able guidance of Jon Lewis, the team will take on two of the top teams in the Women's Premier League, the Mumbai Indians and defending champions of WPL Royal Challengers Bengaluru, respectively, on March 6 and 8.
