The Champions Trophy 2025 is approaching sooner than ever, and the former Pakistan players are requesting India to come and play in the tournament. While the Indian government and BCCI are against sending players to neighbouring countries, they have proposed a different location to serve as a neutral venue. However, Pakistan Board members disagree with it and want the players to travel.
While discussing the tournament, former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal told the Times of India that he would like to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma play in the neighbouring country. Moreover, he also urged the legendary duo to play in Pakistan before retiring from cricket. He also mentioned that the fans will love their play and are eagerly waiting for them to visit the place.
"Virat and Rohit should visit Pakistan before they retire. These two are stars of world cricket, travelling across the globe to play the game. Every single fan loves them. They have a massive fan base due to their batting and match-winning performances. The fan following they will experience in Pakistan will surpass anything they've seen elsewhere," said Kamran Akmal to Times of India.

Stressing about this fact, Kamran Akmal agreed to it and heaped praises on the right-hand batter for his magnificent personality and his aura. Moreover, he also talked about legendary players like Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah who contributed to cricket differently.
"Virat is a role model for many around the world, Rohit is the World Cup-winning captain, and Bumrah is currently the best pacer in the world. When players like Virat, Rohit and Bumrah visit Pakistan, it will evoke unique feelings in every fan. Virat has been to Pakistan during his under-19 days, but he wasn't as popular then," he added.
