Jasprit Bumrah has a different level of respect in the cricket community for his awesome gameplay and confidence in front of the batters. The fast bowler has various kinds of deliveries under his belt, which leaves batters stunned most of the time.

While attending a college function in Chennai, Jasprit Bumrah was asked about the batters who are tough to bowl internationally, and he gave a very straightforward answer.

The 30-year-old pacer said, "I want to give a good answer. The real factor is I don't want anyone to take over me in my head. I respect everyone, but in my head, I tell myself that if I do my job well that there is nobody in the world that can stop me. I look at myself rather than the opponent. I have control over everything and If I give myself the best opportunity, everything else will take care of itself."

Jasprit Bumrah's T20 World Cup 2024 stint was quite successful as India won the tournament, and he won the Player of the Tournament award. After that, he hasn't been a part of any series yet and might return in the upcoming Bangladesh series, starting on September 19.

Jasprit Bumrah to miss Duleep Trophy 2024

Along with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) rested Jasprit Bumrah in the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2024. While most of the Indian players are part of the series, these three stalwarts miss out on the tournament to be injury-safe.

While Bumrah has a sensitive back, Rohit and Kohli are ageing, and playing domestic cricket wouldn't benefit them in any way, especially when some important series are coming ahead. This decision has received a lot of backlash from critics, but the Board did something extremely necessary for the player's health. They will all be seen together in the upcoming Bangladesh series.
