Bangladesh's all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan's name was involved in a controversy during the political unrest happening in the country. Due to the case and Shakib's involvement in the political party, some fans have harassed him during his stint at the T20 tournament in Canada.
Speaking about this harassment, BCB’s Cricket Operations in-charge, Shahriar Nafees, informed the media that Shakib would be given full respect as he had no involvement in the case. He also said that Shakib would be a part of the home series unless he suffered an injury. Bangladesh will be playing a home series where Shakib will be on the team as he is one of the most experienced players on the side, and his input is extremely important.
"I think the honourable chief adviser, law adviser and sports adviser have spoken very clearly regarding Shakib Al Hasan. There is a clear message from the Bangladesh government that no one will be harassed unfairly in the cases that have been filed. We believe the interim government has made its position very clear on Shakib. Unless there is an injury problem or a selection-related issue, I personally don’t see any reason as of now why Shakib Al Hasan should not play in Bangladesh in the home series," said Shahriar Nafees, BCB’s Cricket Operations in-charge as quoted by ESPN Cricinfo.

They had shown their best performance in the Test series against Pakistan but against India, everything changed. Moreover, India's all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin are the main reason behind this win, as they scored 86 and 113 runs in the first innings, which changed the game's course.
Moreover, their bowling was fabulous as they were playing on their home ground in Chennai. Additionally, India's young guns, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill scored two beautiful centuries in the second innings, snatching the game away from Bangladesh.
