It is nearly 24 hours since India registered their come-from-behind win over Pakistan by 6 runs in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma’s side bowled their hearts out to restrict Pakistan to 113 who were chasing a small total of 120 runs to win. It was India’s second win of the campaign and they next play the United States of America on 12th June.
Delhi Police took to Twitter to troll the Pakistani team when they wrote tagging the New York Police Department. “Hey @NYPDNews we heard two loud noises, one is India.., India and other is probably broken TV sets. Can you confirm?

We heard two loud noises. One is "Indiaaa..India!", and another is probably of broken televisions. Can you please confirm?#INDvsPAK#INDvPAK#T20WorldCup
There was massive anticipation from the fans of both sides ahead of the huge match. Once the final ball was bowled, huge gloom descended on the street of Pakistan. Many fans were very visibly frustrated and a few were irate.
Pakistan under massive pressure
The loss to India has all but knocked Pakistan out of the T20 World Cup. Babar Azam and his mean have played two matches and lost both. Their first loss of the tournament came to the USA in the Super over. The loss to India also meant that the net run rate has taken a huge dive and they will have to win against Canada and Ireland by a huge margin.
Meanwhile, former skipper Wasim Akram slammed the lack of game awareness from the Pakistani team. Speaking to Star Sports at the end of the game, Wasim Akram said “They have been playing cricket for 10 years, and I can’t teach them. Rizwan has no game awareness”
Wasim Akram also said “He should have known that Bumrah was given the ball to take wickets and that the wise thing would have been to play his deliveries cautiously. But Rizwan went for a big shot and lost his wicket”
The pace bowling legend came up with a radical idea when he said “Pakistani players think that if they don’t perform well, the coaches will be sacked, and nothing will happen to them. It is time to keep the coaches and change the entire team. There are players who don’t want to talk to each other. This is international cricket, and you play for your country. Make these players sit at home”
