Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president Amol Kale passed away in New York due to a cardiac arrest on Monday. He was present at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium to watch the epic clash between India and Pakistan, along with MCA secretary Ajinkya Naik and office-bearer Suraj Samat.

While other information regarding the death isn't official yet, Kale has had a beautiful career and achieved much success. He was a great leader under whom Mumbai clinched the Ranji Trophy in the recently concluded 2023-24 season, and Wankhade Stadium hosted the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. He witnessed India winning the thrilling contest against Pakistan by six wickets.

India pulls off a historic win against Pakistan in New York

Indian Cricket team has become accustomed to making Sundays beautiful for the fans. Once again, in an epic clash against the arch-rivals, India claimed victory by six runs in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match will be written down in the tournament's history due to the team's terrific comeback in the 2nd half of the second innings. After scoring just 119 runs, India successfully defended the low total, which speaks volumes about the bowling line-up.

At the start of the first innings, India lost Virat Kohli by just four runs, which was heartbreaking to watch. After him, Rohit Sharma followed him to the pavilion. The entire batting attack collapsed except for Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel, who gave their best. But Pakistan's bowling attack was brilliant, with Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Amir destroying the Indian batters.

With the kind of pitch and outfield New York had in the match, the game completely belonged to Pakistan. However, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya came and conquered the match with their lethal bowling. They maintained the correct line and length and got the best results. For his amazing 3/14, Bumrah was given the Player of the Match award.
