India and Australia will battle it in their last match of the T20 World Cup Super-8 on Monday. It is an important match for the Aussies as they have to beat India to keep their semi-final hopes alive. 

Team India on the other will also want to win the match and make it to the semi-finals. A loss could potentially push them down to second spot in the table. It is to be noted that the team finishing second from Group 1 will take on the table topper from Group in the Semi-Finals and if it is rained out there is no reserve day. 

The venue for the massive India vs Australia clash is the Darren Sammy Stadium in St. Lucia. There might be some bad news for the fans from both teams are there is rain predicted on Monday. It is expected that there will intermittent spells of rain that could have its say before and during the game.

Australia on the other hand will end with 3 points from 3 games and will be nervously watching the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh game. The Aussies will be rooting for the Bangladeshi side to do them a favor and help them qualify for the final four. 

England are the only side to have qualified for the Semi-Finals and are at the top of the table so far with 4 points from 3 games. If South Africa win against West Indies, they will not only knock out the hosts but also meet either Australia/Afghanistan in the semis. 

Team India on the other hand will meet defending champions England in the semis. The last time these two sides met in a T20 World Cup was in 2022. England thanks to Jos Buttler and Alex Hales had registered a ten wicket win to end India’s hopes of reaching the finals.
