The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is going great for some teams with consecutive wins. However, Pakistan's tournament isn't going great, as they have lost two matches and are on the verge of getting eliminated from the tournament. Hence, they must fix many things in the team to win their upcoming game against Canada.
If Pakistan loses this match, they'll not only be out of the tournament but also have to play in the qualifiers for the next T20 World Cup 2026. Their fielding has degraded, as they left a lot of catches in the previous match against India. This isn't the first time they have pulled off this stunt. Saim Ayub is another destructive batter who can do wonders if given a chance. He will fit in the middle order really well and can score runs during crunch situations. Hence, Pakistan should bring him in instead of Usman Khan, who hasn't had a good tournament so far.
