Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza has denied all claims of moving to Pakistan to start his International cricket career. He's one of the most prolific players in Zimbabwe and has captained the team as well. During a Q&A session on Twitter, a fan asked him, "Have you ever thought about playing for Pakistan? You could help resolve the middle-order batting woes."

Replying to the fan, Raza made it clear that he has no intentions of going to Pakistan even though he was born there. He responded on Twitter saying, "I am a born Pakistani and a product of Zimbabwe Cricket. I will only and ever represent Zimbabwe. They spent time and money on me, and I am only trying to repay their faith, and whatever I achieve will never even get close to repaying it. Zim is mine and am theirs fully."

The clarity with which Raza answered the question was quite courageous. He is a great player and should remain where he is. He isn't hungry for more fame and wants to stick to playing cricket where he belongs. This is a quality that is lacking in many people.

Zimbabwe to play their next series in Pakistan

The Men in Green will be travelling to Zimbabwe to play a 3-match ODI and T20I series starting on November 24. The series is going to be exciting, considering Pakistan's form. The series will conclude on December 5 with the third T20I. Recently, Zimbabwe played against India and might have learnt a lot of things which they will implement against Pakistan.

Their batting is a bit weak as compared to bowling and fielding. They have to improve in all three sections of the game to win against the Men in Green. However, if they manage to perform well, they can definitely defeat the visitors.
