The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be yet another chance for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win the league. In the last 17 seasons, RCB haven’t been able to win the league despite having a plethora of talent. Last season, RCB had a poor start to the season where they were rooted at the bottom of the table at one point. Kohli’s batting form and the bowling unit stood up to be counted, which saw Bengaluru make it to the playoff stages.

Rajat Patidar will be leading the side this season after being named the skipper. The 31-year-old will have a huge task on his hands as he will be leading a side filled with batting and bowling superstars. Virat Kohli, who is the leading run-scorer in the league, will have the huge task of shouldering the batting charge once.
The likes of Will Jacks, skipper Patidar himself, and Liam Livingstone bring the much-needed fire-power to the table. Tim David is another player who will lend the muscle towards the latter innings. Young Jacob Bethell is another player to watch out for, as the English international has been touted as one of the best young talents.
RCB have also invested heavily in their bowling department for the coming season. Josh Hazlewood rejoins the side, while veteran seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also made a comeback to the RCB stable. Lungi Ngidi, Rasikh Salam Dar, and Nuwan Thushara are some of the other bowlers who have been added to the team by RCB for depth in the squad for the coming season.
