Sanju Samson's batting prowess came to light in the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh, where he scored a scintillating century. In just 47 balls, Samson smashed 111 runs, including 11 boundaries and eight sixes. This inning will be discussed for long as Samson grabbed the opportunity and scored the much-needed runs for him. With this knock, he has almost cemented his place in the team for the upcoming South Africa series.

But, if we notice, India have changed their batting approach recently. The shift from the traditional style of batting to an aggressive approach started back in 2022. After winning the match, Samson revealed the real reason behind this and credited former T20I captain Rohit Sharma. Samson said, "Rohit Sharma took the decision that we need to play more aggressively after the 2022 World Cup. Rohit led from the front, now Surya and Gauti bhai carrying it ahead."

Samson also spoke about how head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav adapted to the style and encouraged the other team members to go forward with it. As per Samson, the best part about the team is that they are backed for their skills and are asked to play their natural. "It’s great to see how Gauti bhai and Surya have embraced this style. They encourage us to play our shots, back ourselves, and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible," added Samson.

India clean sweep Bangladesh in T20I series

Suryakumar Yadav-led India team showed a class act in the entire T20I series against Bangladesh with ended with 3-0. The hosts went on to win the last game by a huge margin of 133 runs. Well, this happened because the Indian batters were in a different mood throughout the whole game. India scored 297 runs, the second-highest score in T20I history. With Samson's century and skipper Suryakumar Yadav's half-century, the team achieved such a high score.

It was a great game of cricket where almost every ball went to the boundary for a six or a boundary. The Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad should be officially called a batting paradise for the number of high-scoring games it has hosted in the last six months. Starting from IPL, where Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma wreaked havoc, to India's game, where Samson, Surya, and Hardik Pandya showed the world what aggressive gameplay is. This game will be etched in the memories of the Indians for a long time.
