Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika welcomed became proud parents to their second child on Friday. The Sharma family welcomed a baby boy and Rohit Sharma took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the birth. 

Rohit Sharma wrote “F.A.M.I.L.Y the one where we are four”. By the time the post was written there were nearly 10 lakh likes and over 100 comments. Suryakumar Yadav along with Tilak Varma wished Rohit on the arrival of his second child. 

India’s T20I skipper said “Really very happy for you Rohit bhai. We were waiting for this moment and had it been 1-2 days later I would have joined you there. I'm coming soon," Sanju Samson chimed in and said “Super happy for Cheta and his family”. Suryakumar Yadav then added “Now we have to get ready with small side arm and small pads as a new cricketer has arrived”

Suryakumar Yadav wishes Team India for successful Australian tour

Indian cricket’s T20I skipper has wished Rohit Sharma led Indian side well for the upcoming Australian tour. The 34-year-old spoke after leading the team to 3-1 series win over South Africa in the 4-match T20I series. 

Yadav said “For the squad in Australia, I wish them all the luck. I know they're well prepared going into the series, and I know it'll be a challenging one, but at the same time, I wish them all the luck”

According to reports, Shubman Gill has suffered a blow to his fingers during the simulation game on Saturday. BCCI’s medical team is yet to ascertain the extent of the injury with just 6 days left for the first Test match in Perth. Meanwhile, there are hopes that Rohit Sharma could fly down to Australia and be part of the opening game.
