It was a joyous moment for all the citizens of India as the Men in Blue landed home from Barbados. There has been massive anticipation for the team to make its way back home after being holed up in Barbados due to the weather conditions as there was a huge hurricane.

Skipper Rohit Sharma could be seen dancing to the tunes and beats of the drums to the amazement of the fans. The 37-year-old was seen joyfully grooving to the beats as the crowd cheered him on in delight.

Team India ended their long wait for an ICC title after they beat South Africa in the final. The topsy-and-turvy encounter saw the Indian bowlers get their team back into the game from the clutches of a loss and take home a 7-run win.

Suryakumar Yadav enthrals the crowd with different kinds of footwork

Ace Indian batter, Suryakumar Yadav is still the toast of the nation as his marvellous catch helped India win the title. The 33-year-old’s presence of mind saw him take the catch of David Miller in the first ball of the final over of the game.

Once he got down from the bus, SKY as he is fondly called was seen matching the beats with his energetic dance steps. It was a great delight to see the Indian cricketers finally let go of their inhibitions and celebrate after a well-earned win.

Meanwhile, there could be trouble in the offing for noted Indian airline biggie Air India. The Directorate General of Aviation India has asked the airline to submit a report as to why it didn’t operate a scheduled flight.

As per sources, who spoke to the media were quoted as saying, “The regulator has asked Air India to provide a report to establish the facts." The move came out after the airline decided to use the Boeing 777 and cancelled the Newark to New Delhi flight.

Many experts aren’t happy with the move with one unnamed source saying “The airline that was originally to fly the Indian cricket team had to cancel after which Air India was approached by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This is when B777 was identified for the task.”

The source also went on to say, “All the passengers booked in the Newark-Delhi flight were informed well in advance and even given an alternative, minimising the inconvenience caused. Even after this, some passengers could not be informed about the flight cancellation as a result of which they turned up at the airport. They were, however, taken to New York by road and were accommodated in the New York-Delhi flight.”
