Team India won the inaugural edition of the World Championship of Legends by beating Pakistan in the final on Saturday in Birmingham. The win of India came when Irfan Pathan hit Sohail Tanvir down to the ground for a four. Robin Uthappa won the hearts of a million cricket fans worldwide, his gesture stole the show.
With 3 balls left for the 17th over to be completed, Misbah-ul-Haq was grimacing in pain. The former Pakistan star could be seen having trouble with his leg as he called for immediate medical help. Just as he was walking off the ground in pain there was an unexpected help. It came in the form of Robin Uthappa who went over to Misbah-ul-Haq and gave him a helping shoulder.
The Indian wicketkeeper also motioned for someone to make their way over and help the veteran batter as Misbah could be seen tapping Robin Uthappa on his shoulder and appreciating him for the help. Fancode put out the short clip on their X handle and captioned it by saying, “Spirit of Cricket moment in Birmingham.”
Indian batting keeps cool to win a close match

Sharjeel Khan was out early for 12 when he fell to Anureet Singh and this was followed by the wicket of Shoaib Maqsood for 21. Kamran Akmal batted well before he fell to Pawan Negi for 24 off 19 balls.

India lost Robin Uthappa early when he fell to Aamer Yamin for 10. Ambati Rayudu though kept the scoreboard ticking as he hit 50 off 30 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Gurkeerat Mann joined Rayudu as the pair added 60 runs for the third wicket.
Skipper Yuvraj Singh struggled to score runs as he was not out on 15 off 22 balls. Yusuf Pathan played a cameo to score 30 off 16 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes before young brother Irfan Pathan ended the game with a four and let out a huge roar to signal the win.
