Flamboyant Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has won the hearts of his fans with his million-dollar gesture to an engineering student. The young keeper-batter has reportedly donated a college student named Kartikey Maurya his fee of INR 90,000 after noticing a request on social media.

Maurya, who is pursuing his degree at Chandigarh University, launched a fundraiser campaign on Ketto, a crowdfunding website in India. An X account called 'True India Scenes' tagged the cricketer with the fundraising campaign post, appealing for help.

"Hello @RishabhPant17Sir I’m a student struggling to fund my engineering education. Your support can change my life. Please consider helping or sharing my campaign. Your kindness would mean everything to me,” the post read.

After noticing the post, Pant took to his official account and responded as follows: “Keep chasing your dreams. God has better plans always tc”.

Surprisingly, Pant acknowledged the pledge and donated to the campaign. The X account later thanked the Delhi cricketer for his contribution. Though there is no mention of how much Pant donated, it is widely reported that he gave Rs 90,000.
