IPL 2025 is over the horizon and Rishabh Pant has joined the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in preparation for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). Ahead of the 18th season of the tournament, the franchise announced the arrival of their leader with an edit inspired by the movie south indian KGF starring Yash.

Lucknow Super Giants have announced that Rishabh Pant has arrived for the upcoming IPL 2025 season on their social media accounts. The video starts with the iconic title track from the KGF film playing in the background while Pant drives a fancy car. Pant exits the car which influences the fans with his signature stroll once they get to the SuperGiants' camp.  

Finally, he sits on a wooden chair and displays his swagger with a signature punchline after being greeted with drumrolls. "Jo Lucknow rehne aata hai, woh shehar ke baare me seekhta hai. Aur jo Lucknow ka dil jeetne aata hai, Lucknow ko Rishabh Panti seekhata hai," he says as he joins the LSG camp.

Rishab Pant to lead Lucknow Super Giants

Delhi Capitals did not retain Rishab Pant for IPL 2025 as he was added to the mega auction. During a mega auction, Lucknow Super Giants picked wicketkeeper Rishab Pant for Rs. 27 crores. He became the most expensive buy of IPL 2025.

After some time, the team named him captain, and LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka confirmed Rishabh Pant as the captain of the team. Rishabh Pant is one of the rising stars in the Indian Premier League (IPL). While playing for India Rishabh Pant has achieved a lot of success in every format of the game.

 He is known for his aggressive batting style and enthusiasm on the field. Although, his abilities in Test cricket have already been demonstrated, he performs just as well in T20 contests. With his batting prowess and leadership skills, Rishabh Pant might help LSG win their first IPL title.
