Reports: Ishan Kishan likely to make comeback in upcoming India's tour of Bangladesh tour

Ishan Kishan's rift with the selectors is well-known to the world now after the player refused to make himself available for international and domestic matches. Post that, he was removed from BCCI's central contract. His IPL 2024 performance wasn't good either. However, the situation is easing for the keeper batter, who is set to make his comeback in the upcoming Buchi Babu tournament, starting on August 15. 

As per reports, Ishan Kishan might also play in the Duleep Trophy 2024, where several other star players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are set to feature. After conversing with the selectors, Ishan made himself available for the upcoming domestic matches. Now, this is a golden opportunity for Ishan to perform well and make a comeback in the Indian team.

The selection committee will pick up players from the Duleep Trophy tournament for the upcoming Bangladesh tour. According to the reports, the selectors will keep a close eye on the players who will perform in the Duleep Trophy, making it easier for them to make the selection. Hence, Ishan must make a solid comeback to return to the Indian team.

India's Bangladesh tour in jeopardy

Amidst the ongoing political unrest in Bangladesh, the Indian team's travel to Pakistan for the upcoming 2-match Test series is in jeopardy. The Board might now allow the players to travel to Bangladesh to play the Test series as it won't be safe for them.

Moreover, the T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled in Bangladesh in October. As per reports, the tournament might be relocated due to safety concerns in the neighbouring country. Hence, India might also take a U-turn for the upcoming series.
