The WPL Auction for the 2026 season concluded, and MI and RCB women have a great squad overall. RCB Women have some of the established stars, like Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh, Nadine De Klerk, and others, in the WPL 2026. Likewise, MI Women have Harmanpreet Kaur, Shabnim Ismail, Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Amelia Kerr, and other top players.

Mumbai Indians Women retained the likes of Harmanpreet, Nat Sciver, Matthews, Amanjot Kaur, and G Kamalini. In the WPL Auction 2026, the 2-time champions bought some exciting emerging players like Saika Ishaque, Poonam Khemnar, Rahila Firdous, Triveni Vasishta, Sanskriti Gupta, Nalla Reddy, and Sajeevan Sajna.

Apart from that, MI Women also invested in some established players, most of whom have made an impact for them in the past. They bought Amelia Kerr, Ismail, Milly Illingworth, and Nicola Carey. Amelia was the costliest player MI bought at the WPL Auction 2026 for a price of INR 3 crores.

RCB Women's Squad for WPL 2026

Compared to MI Women, who invested a lot in the upcoming talents, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women went after more established players. Their Indian talents like Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, and Radha Yadav are established, while they also retained Mandhana, Richa, and Shreyanka Patil. RCB Women had also retained Ellyse Perry and bought some emerging talents.

Dayalan Hemalatha, Gautami Naik, Prema Rawat, and Parthyoosh Kumar are some of their emerging players. Among the established overseas players, they have Grace Harris, Lauren Bell, Georgia Voll, and Nadine De Klerk. Notably, none of the players RCB Women bought in the auction were priced over INR 1 crores. Their biggest buy from the WPL Auction 2026 was Lauren at INR 90 lakhs.
