While celebrating the title win, the Indian captain held on to the trophy offered to her and walked towards her teammates, and shook it before lifting it with a huge roar with her teammates. It was similar to how Rohit Sharma did after India won the T20 World Cup in 2024, which was India's first major title since the Champions Trophy in 2013.

India became the first team to win the Women's World Cup for the blind. The win comes weeks after a historic win for the Senior Women's team in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. In just a month, the Women's Cricket has witnessed two winners from India.
Indian Women's dominant performance in the inaugural edition of World Cup for blind
Compared to the senior team, the Indian team with blind players put up a highly dominant performance in the tournament. In the final, the Indian Women bowled first and restricted Nepal to just 114/5 in their 20 overs. India took just 12.1 overs and chased down the target on the back of Khula Sharir's 44*(27).

In the semifinal, India claimed a comfortable 9-wicket win against the Australian Women. The tournament started on the 11th of November and the group stage matches took place in Bengaluru. The knockout matches happened in Colombo. The tournament also featured three other teams - Pakistan, USA, and Sri Lanka.
