India's fightback in the 3-match Test series against New Zealand continues on day three of the 3rd Test match. The hosts have bowled out the Kiwis for 174 runs and have gotten a target of 147 runs to win the game and avoid a series whitewash. The game's hero for India is Ravindra Jadeja, who claimed a 10-wicket haul against the mighty Kiwis. It was an incredible performance by the player who claimed two fifers in two innings. Jadeja took 5 wickets in each innings of the match and overtook the legendary former India bowler Bishan Singh Bedi in five-wicket hauls tally.

Jadeja now has 15 five-wicket hauls while Bedi took 14 five-wicket hauls in 67 matches. The Test match started with Tom Latham winning the toss and choosing to bat first. This time, the batters didn't cause much damage as they scored 235 runs in the first innings thanks to Jadeja's fantastic bowling. He dismissed the best batters in the team who had scored in the past. When India came into bat, Shubman Gill's 90 runs and Rishabh Pant's 60 runs helped India take a lead of 28 runs.

However, the game turned in the 2nd innings when New Zealand came into bat again and scored just 174 runs. Again, the credit goes to Ravindra Jadeja for bowling magnificently in the match. He didn't allow the batters to settle down and went in with several variations, which helped him get wickets. Now, India have an easy target to win the game only if they don't commit worthless mistakes.

India lose three early wickets in 2nd innings against NZ

In the 2nd innings of the 3rd Test match, India have gotten a target of 147 runs to win the game. However, even with such a low target, India have lost three early wickets including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. While Rohit was dismissed on 11 runs, Kohli departed on just one run. The players have failed massively in the entire series, which isn't a good sign for India.

The outrage against the players is increasing because of their failure in the series. If we look closely, in 10 innings, Kohli has scored 192 runs, and Rohit has scored 133 runs. These scores clearly show a lack of form, and now that India will be travelling to Australia, the senior players' performance is concerning.
