Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the talk of the town due to their series of failed performances. Australia's Test captain, Pat Cummins, spoke about the players and Australia's strategy against them for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. The series is set to start on November 22 in Perth. India did not do well in the last series against New Zealand, which is why all eyes will be on them.

"Hard to know, really. Every player goes through a kind of good form, bad form. If you're going to have a long Test career, you're going to have those little patches. Our job is obviously to try and keep the Indian batters as quiet as we can so we'll wait and see. Those two are obviously some of India's more experienced players, so we'll see what happens," said Pat Cummins as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Virat Kohli has amassed only 190 runs in the last 10 innings while Rohit Sharma has scored only 133 runs in his last 10 innings in Test. Both are under BCCI's radar and as per some reports, the Board will look into their future after reviewing their performance in the BGT series 2024.

We'll try and have some good plans: Pat Cummins

Rishabh Pant is one of the main reasons behind India's domination in Australia, the last time they visited the country. This time, too, India will be somewhat dependent on him because of his calibre. Pat Cummins acknowledged the fact that Pant is the most dangerous player in the squad now and they will have a separate plan set for him and will hope for it to work out. The left-handed batter's fearless approach is something that will be a concern for the Aussies.

"He's played well, he had a good series out here in Australia next time. So yeah, we know he can be dangerous when he gets going, so [we'll] try and have some good plans and hope they come off," added Cummins.
