Noted astrologer Greenstone Lobo has said that former India skipper Virat Kohli will have an amazing Border Gavaskar series. The 36-year-old has been struggling with the bat in recent times and has scored just two fifties across formats. Kohli struggled to score runs during the series against New Zealand, along with skipper Rohit Sharma.
Greenstone Lobo said, "One of the main questions that people ask me these days is how long will Virat Kohli play? This is not a question of concern but it comes out of love and curiosity. People want to know how long will Virat Kohli play and how long will they be able to enjoy his brilliance. So, for all the Virat Kohli fans out there, let me tell you one thing. Let me assure you one thing. Virat Kohli is going to be there at least till 2027.”
Kohli, with the rest of Indian teammates, is set to fly to Australia for the five-match Border Gavaskar series. This is expected to be the last time Kohli gets to visit Australia as the next tour is scheduled for 2029. Most of the senior players are under pressure to perform well to keep their place in the side.
Greenstone Lobo predicts a bright future for Kohli
The noted astrologer went on to add, “One of the best patches of Virat Kohli is yet to come. Does it mean that Kohli is going to beat the record of Sachin Tendulkar? Maybe not. That tally of 49-plus (51) Test centuries is very, very steep. So maybe it would be difficult for him to achieve but then Virat Kohli can definitely go beyond Sunil Gavaskar and even Rahul Dravid.”
To put the fans; concerns at ease about Kohli’s performance in Australia, Lobo said, “He is going to perform brilliantly well because Uranus, which has gone debilitated in the last few months is going to come back into exaltation exactly on November 15th and it's going to stay there throughout this entire tournament. One important thing I can say (for now) is that Down Under Virat Kohli is definitely going to play some very interesting roles."
Team India has to win the series to keep their WTC hopes alive. Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will have to play well in order to restore the team's form. India were blanked 3-0 at home recently by New Zealand to cause a huge jolt to their hopes of making the WTC finals.
