Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka invited skipper KL Rahul for a special dinner at his residence in New Delhi on May 13 ahead of their important clash against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 14. Moreover, the photos showed the two hugging and shaking hands with each other; hence, this interaction between them didn't look awkward but seemed healthy and in good spirits.

This meeting came into existence after a video went viral on social media where Goenka was seen having an animated conversation with the skipper. The discussion looked pretty aggressive from Goenka's side as he was seen venting out on Rahul after their defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They lost the match by 10 wickets and within 10 overs.

It was an interesting match where SRH chased down a target of 167 runs with no wickets lost. All the credits go to their opener Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma who not only gave a great start to the game but also won the match with a huge margin which helped them get a better net run rate.

'We have watched that kind of batting on TV...' - Skipper KL Rahul on SRH's batting

Skipper KL Rahul was shattered and heartbroken after watching opponent SRH in their last match. While the match was interesting to watch, LSG bowlers didn't do justice to their role as they couldn't dismiss a single batter during the 2nd innings. However, LSG still has two matches and if they win it, they'll qualify for the playoffs.

"Am lost for words. We have watched that kind of batting on TV. But this is unreal batting. Everything seemed to find the middle of the bat. Kudos to their skills. They have worked hard on their six-hitting skills. They didn't give us a chance to know what the pitch played in the second innings," said KL Rahul at the post-match presentation.
