KKR star batter Rinku Singh has recently opened up about the heartwarming story behind the tattoo adorning his right arm. The star player has recently talked about how special the tattoo is to him and what significance it holds in his life. Notably, the left-handed batter is still yet to mark his impact in the IPL 2024, as he has just 112 runs from the eight games he has played so far. However, KKR has recently suffered a defeat against the Punjab Kings, but the southpaw will be looking to make his comeback in the next clash against the Delhi Capitals.

However, the 26-year-old has revealed that he made the tattoo after being picked by KKR for 80 lakhs in the IPL auction. The middle-order batter revealed that his family problems and everything got solved after he was picked by the franchise, as he was able to pay his family debt as well as provide a stable life to his family members. Notably, Rinku Singh had the magnificent edition of IPL 2023, especially in the clash against GT, where he hammered five straight sixes against Yash Dayal to help his side chase down 29 runs from the last five balls of the game.

"This was made when I was picked for KKR. I think it was 2:20 PM. My family's life changed from that very point. I was auctioned for Rs 80 lakh. So the money solved all the family problems. We could repay all the debt. So my life changed from then," Rinku Singh said on the Knights Dugout Podcast.
