Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag then saw off the run chase to help RR win by eight wickets and 25 balls to spare. Skipper Riyan Parag hit the winning shot as he deposited a huge six off Washington Sundar’s bowling. This win means that RR now has six points from 10 games. Gujarat Titans meanwhile, stay second in the table with this loss with 12 points from nine games.

At the start of the game it seemed like Gujarat Titans had posted a huge total on the board after being put into bat first. The visitors batting charge was led by Shubman Gill who scored a masterful knock off 84 which came off just 50 balls. Former RR star Jos Buttler then flexed his muscles to score an unbeaten 50 off 25 balls.

Jos Buttler put down an easy catch of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the first delivery of the second over of the chase that was bowled by Ishant Sharma. Ishant Sharma conceded 28 runs from his second over with three huge sixes and two fours coming off Suryavanshi’s blade. The youngster reached his fifty off just 17 balls and took another 18 to reach his century. In the 10th over, debutant Karim Janat was hit to all parts of the ground as the seamer gave away 30 runs. Janat was hit for three fours and three sixes in his singe over as the 14-year-old raced to 94 off 34 balls.

Prasidh Krishna finally broke the opening stand worth 166 when he castled Suryavanshi for 101 runs. The batter’s knock came off 38 balls with the help of seven boundaries and 11 huge sixes. Despite the fall of Nitish Rana for four, RR didn’t look back and went onto win the game with ease.
