The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has announced the refund of tickets to fans for their cancelled games at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB were scheduled to play against SRH and KKR at their home ground in Bengaluru. The decision came on Saturday, May 10, just a day after the BCCI suspended the tournament for one week amidst the escalating cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
RCB’s clash against SRH was scheduled to be played on Tuesday, May 13, followed by the game against the defending champions, KKR, on Saturday, May 17. But now, both the games stand cancelled after the suspension of the tournament.
The franchise revealed this news of ticket refunds to their fans, with a post on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
“Original Ticket holders of RCBvSRH and RCBvKKR at the Chinnaswamy stadium, originally scheduled on the 13th and 17th of May 2025, are eligible for a full refund, subject to terms and conditions,” read the X post shared by RCB.

RCB enjoyed brilliant run before tournament’s suspension
Speaking of RCB’s form in the Indian Premier League 2025 before the tournament’s suspension, they enjoyed a brilliant run, being placed in the second spot on the tournament standings. Rajat Patidar-led side won eight games while losing only three in the 11 games they played. They registered 16 points, equal to the table toppers, Gujarat Titans.
Speaking of the possibilities of the resumption of the tournament, the BCCI has shortlisted three cities, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, to host the remaining 16 matches of the tournament. The remainder of the tournament included 12 league matches, followed by three playoff games and the tournament’s summit clash.
