Mumbai Indians eye playoff spot with win against DC

Speaking of Mumbai Indians’ performance in the ongoing IPL 2025, they have made a brilliant comeback after a shaky start in the initial phase of the tournament. Hardik Pandya’s men are placed in the fifth spot on the tournament standings, with seven wins and five defeats in their 12 games, having 14 points to their name. MI have the best net run rate among all teams in the tournament’s current edition (1.156).

They are coming off a 3-wicket defeat against the Gujarat Titans, following four consecutive wins in their last five games in the tournament. They will take on DC in their next game, and a win in this game will ensure their spot in the tournament’s playoff stage.
