Playing under the newly appointed skipper Rajat Patidar in the ongoing IPL 2025, RCB have performed brilliantly so far. They are currently placed in the top spot on the tournament’s points table, with 7 wins and only 3 defeats in their 10 games, earning 14 points to their name.
RCB have the net run rate of 0.521 and are also enjoying an amazing run of form in the last five games, winning four games while losing only one. They have registered three successive wins in the last three games. Rajat Patidar’s men are moving strongly forward in contention for the qualification for the IPL 2025 playoffs.

The IPL 2022 champions, Gujarat Titans, have been looking stronger and intact this season compared to their performances in the last few seasons. The Shubman Gill-led side is currently in the second spot on the tournament standings, with six wins and only two defeats in their eight games so far.
They currently have 12 points, with a brilliant net run rate of 1.104, having four wins and only one defeat in their last five games in the tournament. They will take on the out-of-form and ‘struggling’ Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next two games, which makes it quite easy for them to ensure their place in the knockouts.
Mumbai Indians(MI)

The five-time champions, Mumbai Indians, didn’t have an expected start to their campaign in the ongoing IPL 2025. They lost four out of their first five games, with only one win, and were struggling in the bottom half of the table. But they left everyone stunned with a sensational comeback in the tournament, registering five consecutive wins in the last five games, and that too with impressive margins.
Hardik Pandya’s men are currently in third place on the points tally, with six wins and four defeats in their 10 games in the tournament so far. They will now aim to win their next two games to strengthen their chances for the IPL 2025 games, which, considering their current form, is looking quite possible for them.
Punjab Kings(PBKS)

Being led by the new skipper and IPL 2024 winning captain, Shreyas Iyer, the Punjab Kings have impressed with their performances in the ongoing IPL 2025 so far. They have been in and out of the ‘top four’ teams in the tournament standings. Their last game against KKR was called off due to rain.
Currently, the Kings are in fifth place on the points table, with five wins and three defeats in their nine games so far, earning 11 points. They have been through a mixed run of form in their last five games, winning and losing two games each, alongside a ‘no-result’ game. Looking at PBKS' current form and the strength of players in all departments, they look quite strong to qualify for the tournament’s knockout stage.
